Passage 2:

Britain and China have ancient civilizations and a long history of mutual exchanges. Remarkable progress has been made in cooperation in various fields since the two countries established diplomatic ties.∥
China is playing an increasingly important role in Asian and international affairs, and although Britain and China have different national conditions, social systems, cultural traditions and levels of economic development, there is no fundamental conflict of interest. The improved British-Chinese cooperation serves not only the interests of the two nations, but also those of world peace, stability and development.

Passage1:

Passage 2:

攀枝花钢铁公司是国家重点项目，年产钢材300万吨；它的兴建从根本上改变了该地区的面貌。此外，攀枝花属亚热带气候，因此，该地区有发展农业得天独厚的优越条件。
